Unique Artifact Illustrations That Capture Your Vision
I offer three different styles of illustrations, all of which can be delivered and manipulated digitally to fit your needs. It is important to note that these illustrations are not a “copy and paste” snapshot of an artifact but rather an interpretation. This is ideal for many situations where a multi-dimensional view of a subject is needed to understand a holistic picture or where lighting is required to illuminate details that can be hard to capture (or look pleasing) in photos. I can provide:
(Basic) Black-and-White Stipple drawings that capture a basic level of detail. I recommend this style for an overview image that displays the common pattern of artifacts in an assemblage.
Gauche Colour digital paintings that capture an impression of a specific artifact or specimen with vibrant colours and depth. I recommend this style for unique specimens (such as worked bone) or artifacts.
(Detail) Black-and-White Stipple drawings that captures the subject’s fine detail, texture, and depth. I recommend this style for intricate surface decorations of pottery or butchered/worked bone.
